Temporary diversion for Fracture Clinic, Neurophysiology and Trauma Assessment

Posted on:

The side corridor leading to Fracture X-ray, the Plaster room, Neurophysiology service and the Trauma Assessment Unit is currently closed off so that essential works can be undertaken as part of the Fracture Clinic move in early 2026.  It will reopen on Friday 19 December at the end of the working day.

The fracture clinic is moving as part of a larger enabling scheme for the new Women and Children’s Hospital. The Cardiac Department, currently in the Link Corridor, will be moving to where Fracture Clinic is now so that the new microbiology building can go into the Link Corridor area.

Work on the next phase of the Cardiac Relocation enabling project will be underway in the new year, which will see the Cardiac Department move to a dedicated space in Outpatients close to the front entrance in Trelawny Wing.
